What is a calorie?
A calorie is simply energy. Everything you eat (mostly) has energy.
Calories are made up of macronutrients which are made up of proteins, fats and carbs. All of which are important for daily activity and weight training.

1 gram per lb of body weight or lean muscle mass
CARBOHYDRATES
